Sausage Rolls (EN)


Sweet & savoury are the perfect words to describe these sausage rolls! The bread is extremely soft, bouncy and super fluffy!! All thanks to the sponge starter I've included in my recipe. This chicken sausage is store bought but it isn't like any other sausage. It is really savoury with a hint of sweetness to it!

All together it would be the perfect snack for everyone!

Sausage rolls 8 Pcs

Sponge starter (A)
– 20g Egg
– 40g Milk
– 2g Yeast
– 5g Milk powder
– 70g Bread flour

Dough (B)
 A pack of sausages of your preference
– 2g Yeast
– 25g Sugar
– 1g Salt
– 15g Water
– 50g Bread flour
– 15g Unsalted butter

1. Combine all ingredients together for each A and B in two different bowls of course. Leave them both rest at a room temperature of at least 28C and let it double it size. This takes about 30 minutes.
2. Combine both doughs together and divide it into smaller pieces of each 30g.
3. Flatten the dough and wrap it around the sausage.
